Brittany & Jarrod E-Session

This cute couple will be getting married on Pensacola Beach with some Blissfully Inspired details in September. Combine that with the personality of these two, and it’s going to be a great wedding! We had so much fun just letting them be themselves and snapping some great shots. I hope we weren’t a bad influence ;-) We’ll see you guys in September!

Here’s Brittany workin’ that red dress…

And then a nice portrait….

Jenna & Jared Take 2

You all will remember these two from a couple of weeks ago with the fabulous Mad Hatter wedding. Well, the weather that day turned just absolutely awful before we got Jenna and Jared’s photos done, so we decided to get together again and correct the situation. We started in downtown Pensacola and then headed over to the Yacht Club before finishing at Pensacola Beach. Ironically, the weather was almost the same once again with rain all around. We made it work though, and got some stunning images this time…..here’s a few from their session.

Zoom was sitting in a wet slip, so we thought it would make a nice backdrop. Does that make it tax deductible now?

They wanted to get wet for their engagement session last winter, but it was very cold at the time. Well, we fixed that problem. My favorite one of the day….

Hilary & Evan multicultural wedding celebration

I met Hilary & Evan through Hilary’s cousin, Carnley. Do you remember Carnley’s baby, Cat? Anyway, Wes and I were super excited to be a part of this wedding. The wedding and reception was at Skopelos on the Bay. Paul and his crew really outdid themselves on this one. The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. Anyway, the wedding was a mixture of several traditions. To name a few, there was a Native American prayer recited as well as Chinese traditions in honor of Evan’s heritage. Hilary even changed into a red Chinese dress for part of the reception.

Hilary carried a basket of flowers which is apparently a Boston tradition in honor of a dear family friend who gave this antique silver basket to Hilary as a gift (Hi Mickey). Hilary worked that basket!

Does Evan look fabulous or what?

Both dads spoke at the beginning of the ceremony. Dads always have great things to say!

The couple served honey tea to their parents and Hilary’s grandmother.

There wasn’t an officiant over the ceremony. Hilary & Evan had vows, but not traditional ones. They were personal, sweet, and very moving. Seriously, they wrote their own vows and they weren’t corny. I teared up. Hey…there’s me in that picture!

It was a hot July day, but a little Sangria cooled everyone down right after the ceremony.

The MOB’s sister and best friend did a great job making the flowers beautiful. Another one of the MOB’s sisters designed the program too. There are a few on this table along with some Chinese takeout boxes filled with candy and some fans to help beat the heat. This family is so crafty!

Sharon Tobin of Sweet Creations by Sharon created this cool cake and some petit fours too.

Hilary looked RED HOT in this Chinese dress.
