Avery was extremely sick last week, and just as we got her through it, we got it too! Rae is barely able to talk, and Wes is not far behind. This stuff is NASTY! E-mail is the best way to reach us for a couple of days, but forgive the 90 year old emphysema voice if you call us. Wes is on a plane Monday for week long photo expedition in the Rocky Mountains which should make things even more interesting for him! He vows to get Stephanie and James blogged before he leaves! First off, if baby pictures give you the itch for one, this week is rough here on the blog isn’t it? This beautiful little girl is the daughter of Christine and Joe, one of our 2007 couples. She was born on Halloween, and we could not wait to meet her in person for a photo session. She has a knitted Christening gown made years ago by her grandmother that all of her cousins have worn before her, and it was just beautiful. We cannot wait to see her again for her next session!

We worked two baby sessions into our Atlanta trip this weekend. Little Ashton you may remember from his last session is now 5-1/2 months old, and is the sweetest thing you have ever seen. We’re going to get him and Avery together next time for a play date.
Wow…. What else is there to say? If this photo does not give you any sort of hope in life, poeple, and the American spirit, I’m not sure anything will. I want this pilot to run for President! I think he’s proven he can handle the stress. We have taken this flight from LaGuardia to Charlotte at least three times in recent years, same airline, same plane. One time, there was so much turbulence that Rae left permanent fingernail marks in the armrest, and everyone clapped for the pilot when we finally landed at LaGuardia after rockin’ and rolling for an hour. This flight offers the most spectacular views of NYC, but I always asked myself “what if”? Now we know.
