Brittany & Tyson | Pensacola Wedding

Brittany & I met almost 5 years ago.  We worked together at the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office and once she saw our photos, she was hooked!  She moved to south Florida several months later and I left the Sheriff’s Office not long after when I just couldn’t juggle the business and the crazy schedule of a crime scene investigator.  She waited about 15 minutes after Tyson proposed to contact us.  (okay, maybe it was longer).

I was so excited to be photographing this wedding.  Brittany’s mom is responsible for so much of the beautiful decor. You will be so impressed!  Since the ceremony was happening after dark, Brittany and Tyson decided to meet for photos before the ceremony.  It was a lot of fun and a little bit of craziness!

Ceremony & Reception Venue | Myspayce
Catering | Chef Bob Pride of Gotham Catering

Cake | Sweet Creations by Sharon

Decor & Coordination | Denny Segrest

I love this!

The girls were looking great!

So the boys got a little jealous and made a scene!

If you know Brittany, you understand this look!

Some fun details….

Brittany and her mom did much of the decor’ themselves.  Isn’t it beautiful?

Sharon Tobin did a beautiful job on this cake.  Notice the fondant skirting at the bottom.

The classic rock band had the room groovin’ all night!

Maggie’s Bridals at NAS Museum | Pensacola Photos

You may remember Maggie from her sneak peek with Brian last week on her January 2, 2010 wedding. What I didn’t share with you yet is that Maggie and Brian are pilots. Brian is a “Coastie” (Coast Guard), but Maggie and her dad are both Navy pilots. When she mentioned doing her bridal session at the NAS Pensacola museum, we said “Um Yeah”! There is nothing finer than a beautiful bride next to a military plane. We hope you like the results as much as we did!

Wes & Rae go to Chicago | Chicago Photographs

Rae and I have been across this great country from south to east to west, from NYC to Key West – from Los Angeles to Hawaii.  I’m not sure why we’ve never been to Chicago, but I do know we absolutely fell in love.  When we found out we were going to fly into Chicago for Shannon & Rob’s Notre Dame wedding, we were super stoked to have 22 hours to make the best of it.  That we did!  Now, those who know me know that my priority was to visit as many restaurants as I could that have been featured on the Food Network.  So I really enjoyed our lunch at Giordano’s Pizza followed by a late dinner at The Weber Grill Restaurant.  Rae, well…… Rae just wanted to make a snowman.  I think we both accomplished our goals!  Here’s my little 22 hr tribute to Chicago and what I hope is a new traveling relationship between us!   Wes

Chicago Photographer_01This is Cloud Gate, or “the bean” as most people refer to it.  It’s hard not to stare isn’t it? Look at those sexy curves!
Chicago Photographer_02What do you do while visiting such a magnificent piece of art?  Why stupid things of course!
