We are just so blessed to get to photograph beautiful events with great people as clients. We started off at Colette’s family’s beach house for some preparations and Wes went down the block to check in on John’s family. Colette is one of three sisters and the girls were dealing with hair and makeup. John is one of three brothers and the boys were dealing with beer and cigars.
The wedding was really beautiful and the reception was amazing. You know we are suckers for details so we were pretty excited when we saw the reception setup. The vendors were really amazing!

Hello gorgeous bride!
The next 3 ended showing the same 3 subjects (Colette and her parents), but they were just too gorgeous not to share! Gotta love our pretty Florida weather!
It was a perfect afternoon….
Bottoms up, John!
Look at the moms on either side of the officiant. I swear they were the 2 hottest moms we have seen!
The decor’ was just amazing…. The chandeliers hanging from the trees completed the beautiful place settings.
We thought John was a nice guy and we liked him, but then we found out that he’s into sailing like Wes. Now, we think he’s pretty awesome! Check out his sailboat cake. The sails were made of gum paste I think. Plus, it was moist red velvet and it was delicious.
Colette’s family gave great toasts…..
Have you noticed that most of Colette’s photos show her in this amazing huge smile? She really has a great spirit and thoroughly enjoyed her day!

Friday was Amber & Wes in Pensacola
and Saturday was Colette & John in Seaside
Colette and Jake had a grand wedding last weekend at Wesley’s favorite stomping grounds, the Pensacola Yacht Club. We actually set record highs in the 90’s that day, and boy was it hot. These two were troopers though as we braved direct mid-day sun and got some fab shots on the lawn and around the docks. Colette used to work with Rae in corporate America and knew exactly who she wanted to photograph the wedding when she started planning…..

The photo above and below were taken at almost the exact same time to give you another example of the two photographer advantage!
The wedding party decided to take a shot together before the wedding…. You can see how that turned out by the looks on their faces!
Now these two were hilarious…. the ring bearer found out he could make her laugh by hitting himself in the head with the pillow. The went on all the way down the aisle hehe.
This was one of those non-staged moments right after walking up the aisle.
There was silly string…..
And a beautiful ending……
